Trouble in Paradise?
Just reported tonight, Florida State quarterback and Heisman trophy favorite, Jameis Winston, is allegedly part of a sexual assault investigation stemming from a December 2012 report. Winston was contacted by police in February 2013, but no charges were filed.
I'm not really sure what to make of this. Apparently the report states the offender was around 5'10 or 5'11 and Winston is 6'4. Also, the timing of this report seems a little sketchy with all the hype surrounding Winston and the undefeated Seminoles. However, if for whatever reason Jameis cannot play in the near future, Florida State will have to look to their third string quaterback since the backup, Jacob Coker, was lost for the year this past Saturday.
I guess we'll have to wait for all the facts to unfold. Innocent or not, it will be interesting to see if these allegations affect Famous Jameis' spectacular play at all. Approaching a date with Syracuse on Saturday in Tallahassee...my guess is he will be just fine for now.
